“Taste of the Town” Returns Oct. 29 to Chevy Chase Grand Ballroom
Two dozen local favorites serve up a one-night culinary showcase in Wheeling
The Greater Wheeling Area Chamber of Commerce will host its crown-jewel event, Taste of the Town, on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 5:00–8:00 p.m. in the historic Chevy Chase Country Club Grand Ballroom. Now celebrating more than 20 years, the event brings residents and visitors face-to-face with the owners, managers, and culinary teams behind the area’s restaurants, taverns, wineries, and popular gathering spots—many from Wheeling’s famed Restaurant Row.
“Taste of the Town is the one night each year when you can revisit your go-to spots and also discover something completely new—all under one roof,” said Michael J. Putz, Executive Director of the Greater Wheeling Area Chamber of Commerce. “It’s a community celebration of flavor, hospitality, and the local businesses that make our area special.”
This year’s showcase will feature approximately two dozen vendors offering bite-size tastings from their menus (and their bars). Guests can sample a wide variety of savory bites, sweets, and sips in a festive, come-and-go atmosphere.

- Tickets: Early bird tickets are $35 PP and are available now. Same price for Chamber and non-Chamber attendees. Group rate: $30 per ticket for groups of ten or more. Advance registration encouraged; limited walk-ins as space allows.
