Exciting news! Defy Ventures is featured in a new episode of Change Agents, the podcast. In its fourth season, Change Agents pairs rising journalists with nonprofit organizations to tell stories of innovative solutions to social inequities in Chicago communities and beyond. This season Change Agents is exploring efforts to remove barriers holding back the formerly incarcerated from leading fully free lives. 

Change Agents partnered with Defy Illinois and Defy graduate and Advisory Board Member Carl Williams to bring you an episode of Defy's impact as well as Carl's personal reentry and entrepreneurship story. The episode highlights the systemic challenges he (and others like him) face upon reentry into society and how unlocking his entrepreneurial potential led him to make his dream a reality.
